50th Anniversary competition for invited clubs

The theme of the competition was that a £50 note is lost and then found.

There were four entries for competition.

Judging took place in July and at a special  meeting on Saturday October 20 a cheque for £50 was presented to the winning club :

Worcester Film Makers for their film “It’s only money”

2nd  Cheltenham Videomakers                  -   “The Jinx”

3rd  Stroud and Stonehouse Film Unit       -   “Royal Command”

4th   Weymouth Cine and Video Club        -   “Find a Fifty”


We thanks and congratulate all the clubs for making the effort and submitting interesting  films


 

At our Anniversary Dinner John Greene, our Secretary was given “Lifetime Membership” in recognition of all the time and effort he has given to the club.

Gloucester Film Makers was formed in 1962 as Gloucester Cine Club.

In 2012 we celebrated our 50th anniversary with a number of events.
